Countdown to 4th of July with the JSBL

This week, the Jersey Shore Basketball League (JSBL) will count down to the 4th of July weekend with some fireworks. 

Blake Hamilton (The Link’s Player of the Week) and the Sterns Trailer team will face Larson Ford on Tuesday. Larson Ford brings back Kareem Collins, possibly one of the most recognizable names of the JSBL for the past ten years. At 6’3″, Collins graduated from New Jersey City University and was a key asset in the program’s 2004 NJAC Tournament winner and a former overseas professional. Ahmad Mosby also rejoins Larson Ford. Mosby, a pure point guard who was the 2009-2010 ABA Rookie of the Year, brings his skills to the JSBL.

On Thursday, Sterns Trailer will face SeaView Jeep who they lost to in the JSBL Championship game last year. SeaView Jeep brings back overseas professional , Andrew Feeley who at 6’9″ has played all over South and Central America including his last team, the Gigantes of Venezuela in 2014. Colgate Junior Matt McMullen who and Brandon Hall who played for St. Peter’s University, will try to defend their title with newcomers Jeffrey Adkins, a Freshman Guard at the University of New Haven and Tyler Harris, a recent graduate of South River High School.

*All games are played at Wall Township High School, 1630 18th Ave, Wall Township, NJ and are free to the public.
